ND Alum Cheryl B. Schrader Named Chancellor
Cheryl B. Schrader was appointed chancellor of Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) on April 2, 2012. Cheryl received her MS and Ph.D. (1987 and 1991 respectively) degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame under the direction of the late Professor Michael Sain.
A former dean of engineering at Boise State University, Schrader is one of the few female engineers to ascend to the top leadership position of a college or university in the United States. She will become the 21st leader in Missouri S&T’s 141-year history.
