Gupta (on left) Receives Award

Professor Vijay Gupta has been named the recipient of the 2013 Donald P. Eckman Award.

The Eckman Award is given annually by the American Automatic Control Council to recognize outstanding achievements by a researcher under the age of 35 in control theory; past recipients read like a "Who's Who" in the field.

Vijay's citation reads: "For contributions to theory of estimation and control of networked, cyberphysical systems," and his award was presented at this year's American Control Conference (ACC) in June in Washington DC.
